Thus, I am offski.

A man who buys cheap olives to resell at a greater price makes a good profit. A man who plants 1,000 olive trees today, makes a huge fortune in 10 years.

The top students who graduate from business school don’t want jobs at the top companies. They want jobs at startups with potential for growth in the future. It’s not about what happened yesterday. It’s about what’s going to happen tomorrow.

Here’s a document showing my month-long research and subsequent plan to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

I extensively compare the cost of living, healthcare systems, and visa requirements between Adelaide and Ho Chi Minh City, highlighting the significantly lower cost of living in Vietnam. Concerns about healthcare quality and access are addressed, but I believe the overall financial benefits outweigh the risks.

I also discuss my plans for income generation in Vietnam, including restarting my work as a qualified and practising psychologist, as well as continuing my work as a counsellor, researcher, business writer, author, and social media and AI specialist.

Finally, I outline logistical steps such as selling possessions and obtaining a visa before my planned departure. There’s a deep dive audio file you can listen to as well, should you wish.

I plan to arrive in HCMC around mid-April.

If you’d rather have it in book form, I have fifteen books across psychology, neurodivergence, and Đà Lạt-set fiction, plus conversation card sets and an audio course. Each is available on Amazon — or, for paid Substack subscribers at US$90/year, the whole library comes included.

If you’ve read a few of these now and want to talk about something specific to you — neurodivergence, masking at work, the thing you’ve half-named but haven’t said out loud — that’s a different conversation. Email me at lee@mindblownpsychology.com.
